Gallows @ Mod Club - Feb. 5, 2008

Gallows hit the Mod Club last night with full force. It initially seemed that most people were there for openers Cancer Bats, who have some pretty rabid fans (no pun intended), because the pit almost completely cleared out once they were finished their set. However, a new group of “kids” came out of the woodwork to create one of the toughest pits I’ve ever been in. All was going well, and I was holding my own trying to take photos, until someone stage dived right into my face. I thought for sure I lost a tooth (sure felt like it), but luckily only came away with a slight fat lip and a bump on my forehead. At that point, I wasn’t going to risk injury to myself or my camera any longer and got the hell out.

Awesome capture! I always love shooting the Cancer Bats, but one does need to watch out for flying boots and such.
