HIM gallery here.
It’s Canadian Music Week (CMW) here in Toronto, which is the time of year things really start to pick up. I’ve already shot Gogol Bordello and The Hives this week, and will be adding a number of other bands to the list, including one of my faves, Hawksley Workman. Hopefully I’ll find a few new acts that catch my eye (or more accurately, my lens), because as it stands, most of the bands I want to check out I’ve already seen a few times. Updates might become sparse over the next few days due to lack of time and the need to actually sleep. If you’re in Toronto, hopefully you’ll get out to a few shows…say hi if you see me (if you don’t know me, just say hi to any female photog with a ponytail).
And last but not least, I forgot to mention in my last post that Live Baby Live turned one on March 2nd! Time flies!

Absolutely fantastic image. Great capture. The skin tones are marvelous.
So here’s your Projekt Rev HIM pix!! Yay!! This gig is where I discovered HIM and I haven’t looked back - changed my tastes in music entirely. Fabulous fabulous shots, Carrie - love every one. As for their live performance - you either love it or hate it. Ville is known for a very “non-acrobatic” style; yes he does stand at the mic so that the women can gaze at him more intently I guess - that’s what I was doing - and his acerbic wit is hysterical, perfect delivery. I saw them again in October at the Docks. Fights broke out in the mosh pit as the sexual tension was so high! Again, great shots of HIM. Cheers, Carrie!
