Carrie Musgrave was born and raised beside the River Thames in worldly London…Ontario. After studying sociology at Western, Carrie moved to the big city of Toronto, Canada in 2001, and put her education to use by becoming a full-time freelance photographer, specializing in the “human social interactions” of live music and events. She can be found studying these interactions 3-5 nights per week.
Live Baby Live is the combination of blog and portfolio (blogfolio?), created to highlight a ‘best of’ collection of music photographs, as well as full galleries which document shows.
Carrie has photographed nearly 1000 bands/musicians, including Oasis, Madonna, B.B. King, Metallica, AC/DC and Leonard Cohen, among many other legendary and local musicians. Clients include Virgin Mobile (V-Fest), Rogers Publishing, Exclaim! Magazine, SPIN, Torontoist.com, Chart Magazine, CBC Radio 3, Tourism Toronto, and a number of band and label websites.
